Quality Engineer Staff
The Quality Engineer will be accountable for supporting the planning, control, and maintenance of product and process quality by monitoring quality performance, helping achieve quality targets, and ensuring compliance with defined standards.
What you will do:
Analyze product and process failures, support mitigation of quality risks using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) approach.
Conduct required inspections and testing based on the defined Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
Prepare and support the implementation of quality control plans for internal processes.
Develop Built-in Quality in internal processes (e.g., Poka-Yoke systems).
Define and maintain Part Inspection Standards (PIS) for external processes and ensure vendor compliance with the standards.
Implement and monitor non-conformity handling procedures.
Ensure all measuring instruments are properly calibrated
Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure measurement in production stations meet the quality standards.
Monitor Critical to Quality (CTQ) process capability using Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor and report vendor quality performance and internal product & process quality performance.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions within the assigned scope of work.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality standards are implemented effectively, including with Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, Vendor & Suppliers, and Calibration and testing laboratories.
You will fit in this job if you:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
Willing to have a full WFO scheme in Bandung.
Basic knowledge of 3D model design using CAD software.
Knowledge of ISO 9001; familiarity with IATF 16949 is an advantage.
Solid understanding of Built-in Quality concepts and implementation.
Good knowledge of the Seven Basic Quality Tools.
Familiarity with APQP, Control Plan, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) is an advantage.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with good time management, work ethic, and reliability.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
