Jr. Associate Landscape Designer
Landscape Designer is responsible for planning and executing design to suit a variety of land conditions. Along with the architects, a landscape designer will create a highly creative spatial design in order to provide an overall stunning architectural product. This role requires an experienced one who has the vision to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing environments for people to enjoy while ensuring that changes to the environment are appropriate and sustainable.
Job Descriptions
Conduct initial site surveys and prepare preliminary site sketches.
Plan and execute technical surveys, including reporting.
Develop landscape, planting, and lighting designs.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and planting specifications.
Research new materials, construction methods, and work items.
Evaluate site conditions and propose practical design and construction solutions.
Coordinate with Planning and Execution teams to ensure design feasibility.
Ensure compliance with regulations, site standards, and constructability requirements.
Prepare material specifications and maintain project documentation.
Review DED drawings and hand over design packages to the drafting team.
Present designs, provide knowledge transfer, and communicate key design considerations.
Monitor project progress, conduct site supervision, and issue Site Instructions (SI) when required.
Support vendor coordination through joint surveys, tender clarification, kick-off meetings, and mock-up preparation.
Develop and deliver Landscape Maintenance SOPs for branch operations.
Conduct post-construction site assessments, recommend improvements, and review vendor proposals and quotations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Landscape Architect in a consulting firm, developer, or in-house team.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of landscape materials, construction methods, and techniques.
Experienced in quantity take-off, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and pricing analysis.
Good understanding of civil and MEP engineering principles relevant to construction projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrates sound business judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Willing to be based in Bandung, travel frequently, and provide a portfolio as part of the application.
