What you will do:

Support our Engineering team in turning engineering concepts and calculations into clear, technically accurate construction drawings for prefabricated cabin projects, while learning construction standards and documentation requirements along the way.

• Prepare DD, DED, construction, and installation drawings for prefab cabin projects, translating engineering concepts, specifications, and calculations into accurate drawings

• Compile drawing packages for construction, permitting, engineering review, and project documentation

• Coordinate drawings across architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and prefab components, ensuring dimensions, levels, grids, and annotations are consistent

• Incorporate engineers' technical comments and revisions, and maintain drawing revisions, document registers, and issue records

• Run drawing checks to catch inconsistencies, missing information, dimensional conflicts, and coordination issues, and flag potential compliance issues to the responsible Engineer

• Research relevant construction standards and drawing conventions, and support the development of standardized construction details for prefab cabin projects
  

You will fit in this job if you:

• Are a final-year student or fresh graduate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture / Architectural Engineering (with strong technical drafting skills), or a related discipline

• Are familiar with AutoCAD and/or other CAD/BIM software (Tekla, Archicad, or similar is a plus)

• Can read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, including foundation drawings, construction details, sections, elevations, dimensions, and levels

• Have a basic understanding of construction methods, building structures, materials, and assemblies

• Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to drawing accuracy

• Are interested in prefabricated construction, modular buildings, and construction technology
