Barista Trainee (OJT) - CRiB Kuningan, Jakarta

Join our On the Job Training (OJT) programme at CRiB Kuningan and learn the day-to-day of a café: making coffee and non-coffee drinks, preparing simple food, running the cashier and serving guests, with guidance from a mentor.

What you will do:

Food & Beverage Preparation

  • Help prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee drinks according to recipes and quality standards.

  • Prepare and cook simple food, including frozen food, using the available kitchen equipment and SOPs.

  • Learn food and beverage presentation standards to keep quality and consistency.

  • Learn to check product freshness, expiry dates and correct storage of ingredients.

  • Keep the kitchen and drink-making area clean and tidy, and apply food safety and sanitation procedures.

Cashier & Customer Service

  • Learn to use the cashier (POS) system to take orders and process transactions.

  • Practise handling cash and cashless payments according to procedure.

  • Make sure customer orders are recorded correctly and passed to the right team.

  • Serve customers in a friendly, professional way, answer their questions and recommend menu items.

Stock & F&B Operations

  • Help monitor stock of food, drinks, ingredients and operational supplies.

  • Learn correct stock storage and handling to maintain product quality.

  • Help restock items and minimise waste.

  • Follow F&B operating procedures and coordinate with the team for smooth service.

You will fit in this job if you:

  • Are a Senior High School/Vocational High School (SMA/SMK) student or recent graduate, preferably in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or a related field.

  • Are interested in learning Food & Beverage, especially drink-making, simple food preparation and cashier service.

  • Have basic experience or knowledge of operating a coffee machine (a plus).

  • Communicate well and are friendly when serving customers.

  • Care about cleanliness, tidiness and food safety.

  • Are disciplined, proactive, eager to learn and open to direction and feedback.

  • Work well in a team and adapt easily to a dynamic environment.
